February subscription unwrapping and thoughts

I'm writing this a few weeks late because I originally wanted to film myself doing the unwrapping of my monthly subscription boxes so I left them unopened but now that the blog is up and running, I figured this would be a better placement for this content.

The second that Liveglam released the news that they were going to do a monthly subscription for Morphe makeup brushes, I signed up immediately. For $20 a month, you'll receive about $30 worth of what can be a combination of face or eye makeup brushes. The amount I have received has been anywhere from 3 brushes, up to 7. Morphe brushes are just fabulous anyways so it's a great little treat to see what comes in the mail every month because you get to experiment with different brushes that you might not normally use. My brush collection has expanded massively because of this brush club and I always look forward to unwrapping it!

This months brushes came with sleek metal handle and are a good grouping of face applicators. The first brush that caught my eye was the G33 angled buffer and the reason that I love it is that it has a flat top but in a triangular shape. This is the perfect brush to use for crevasses around your nose and under the eye. It's a brush that you wouldn't normally get but it's totally fun and productive to use. The other two are the G36 round powder brush and the G34 mini rounder brush. These all have great bristles for buffing powder or cream products into the skin for a more airbrush look.
I do feel a bit disappointed in getting only getting three brushes this month while two of them are basically the same brush just in an alternate size but the extra-ness of the G33 brush made the blow a little bit less

IPSY:
Ipsy is an awesome $10 monthly subscription bag that comes with a makeup bag filled with a few mainly sampled sized beauty products.
Although the denim bag felt nothing more than basic, I felt that they rocked it with the cosmetics inside. I should have taken it out of the box for the photo but I received a flat dark dirt brown nail polish from Trust Fund Beauty and honestly, they are probably my favorite polish brand. It is a favorable size and the always give me the best quality in color an durability.
I also got the NYX butter lipstick in the color Lifeguard which definitely lives up to its name when it comes to application and texture. This deep red lipstick was a great partnership with the Lord & Berry Line/Shade eye pencil, and Naked Cosmetics HD finishing banana powder. I feel like this is just a good little baggie to grab on your way out if you know you might grab drinks with a friend later because an entire look is in this bag! Don't forget the Be Kind food skin care cleanser. I love this brand as a person who is highly into natural products. I own multiple products in that brand so I hold this product to high stands. I'm confident that it won't fail me.

Feb 20th, Green Chocolate Smoke

been away for bit due to my health issues but I'm so excited that as of late, I will more incredibly more involved in the beauty/makeup industry as my blog is returning and videos are being released. thank you everyone for your incredible support and I hope to see you all follow me for a great artistic journey!
to create this look, I first started priming my lid with @urbandecaycosmetics primer potion with @ofracosmetics godet banana powder over to make cleaning seamless. working my way down, I used @maccosmetics Saddle for my transitional color and Ground Brown in crease and outer third corner. over some concealer, I threw on Macs Bottle Green over the lid and leaving some extra open space for that godet banana powder color to open the eyes. lower lash line is a mix of Ground Brown and Saddle mixed. Winged liner is @skonecosmetics Tattoo Liner with @wetnwildbeauty Mega Bold liner for sharpen the edges. Water line is @ardencyinn super charged liner in Turquoise and mascara is @smashboxcosmetics Full Exposure mascara. lashes are a no name brand. .
